School News

Vermont Green Driving School is licensed by the Vermont Department of Motor Vehicles to offer the required classroom and In-Vehicle driving instruction for Teen drivers desiring to obtain their Junior Operator License.   After the successful completion of 30 hours of classroom instruction, six hours of In-Vehicle driving, and 6 hours of observation, the student will obtain the Course Completion Card necessary to take the Dept. of Motor Vehicle's road test for licensing.  This road test is done by the Vermont DMV office after the student has their permit for one year and has completed 40 hours of practice driving with parent or guardian.  (Vermont Green Driving School does not provide DMV road testing for Jr. Operator license at this time.)  This class will require driving practice outside of classroom hours to build upon the skills taught in class.  Please plan on driving 2-4 hours of practice time a week with your student.
